In the Name of Allah ABSTRACTS IN VOLUME ٤

The fourth issue of Quranic Researches Qurterly (Q R Q) consists of two sections: topical research and Quranic monographs. The former is the continuation of the articles in the third issue and devoted to the Quran and jurisprudence and the latter contains monographs on various subjects. Articles in this issue are as follows.

SECTION ONE

The Dynamism of Quranic Jurisprudence

Following the article in the previous issue. here. the relationship between Quranic verses and traditions in different sections of jurisprudence. also their flexibility towards the changing conditions of time are considered Samples of the jurisprudential issues in which the change of subjects are significant such as the required canoical distance to prove a transition as a journey (Safar) ,girls, canonical puberty, the Kums of war booties, cases for which Zakat should be paid and Friday prayer at the time of Imam Mahdi's occultation are analyzed, compared and contrasted accordingly.

The Extent of Jurisprudential Topics in the Holy Quran

This article deals firstly with the stylistics of ordaining decrees in the Holy Quran and its verbal peculiarities. Afterwards, various classifications of the Quranic decrees are analyzed.The extent of Quranic verses of decrees, the role history plays in Quranic-jurisprudential inferences are also investigated.Finally to find new grounds in the verses of decrees, cases of innovative jurisprudential inferences of the Quranic verses are presented. The Joint Fields of the Sciences of Jurisprudece and Interpretation Here, the historical tie between jurisprudence and interpretation also previous principles in this regard, such as historical setting, the knowledge of fundamentals, the knowledge of words, syntax and theological bases are analyzed. furthermore, the status of the Quran in the sciences of jurisprudence and interpretation, the role of sunnah in jurisprudence and interpretation, the position of intellect in jurisprudece and interpretation and the related dimensions are considered as well.

The Methodology of the Verses of Decrees in the Ahl'l-Bayt's Interpretaion

This article deals with the Imams'methods of proving the jurisprudential decrees on the basis of the Quran and the three methods of adherance, clarification, and meditation together with some examples are introduced. The following pivots are considered in the section devoted to the second approach: clarification on the basis of general language elements, the Quranic vocabulary and expressions, the special structure of the Quran, the Quranic culture, and the Quranic world view.

The Imams (S.A.) Followers and Quranic Jurisprudence

Introducing the most eminent followers of Imams (S.A.) in Quranic jurisprudence, this article investigates the differences in their approaches and their justifications, the reason for their issuing disparate judicial opinions, and the way they deal with the verses of decrees. Later in this article, the Imams, methods of iference and their various means of benefiting from the verses of decrees are also touched upon.

Quranic Jurisprudence from the viewpoints of Sunni Jurisconsults

In this article, the historical background of Quranic- jurisprudential discussions of Sunni scholars, the status of the Quran in the fundamentals of personal reasoning of different Sunni sects, the difference in the Sunnis'viewpoints in Quranic jursprudential-Quranic studies, such as, vocabulary, the denotative meaning of verses and their context, the characteristics of all Sunni sects and the bases of their differences and finally the individualism of Sunni jurisconsults are probed.

The Role of Quranic sciences in Quranic Jurisprudence

Here, the impact of the following sciences on jurisprudential understanding of the verses of decrees is investigated and in each case samples are analyzed comparatively.The considered sciences are,"knowledge of abrogating and abrogated verses of the Quran","the verses revealed in Mecca and Medina," and "the relationship of the verses."

SECOND SECTION

Muslims- Disbelievers Legal Relations

Firstly, this article defines different sorts of disbelievers and the concept of disblief and states the most important principle of Muslims- disbelievers relations. Afterwards, different kinds of laws, such as, common, private, natural and conventional are cared for. Then, the issue of Muslims marrying different sorts of disbelievers from the viewpoint of the Quran and the ransom of a Muslim are disbeliever with regard to each other are regarded in details.

The Role of extra-Quranic Knowledge in Understanding the Quran

As a continuation of the previous one, this article touches upon the impact of extra-Quranic knowledge (knowledge outside the Quranic field ) in understanding and interpreting the Quran and offer some new examples of the effective factors.

The Concept of Self-Restain (Taqva) and its Usage in the Holy Quran

This article is an investigation of the term "self-restain" and its different application in the Holy Quran. Firstly, the root of the term and its derivatives are considered and then the concept of each term and its derivatives in the verses of the Quran are analayzed.

A Review of Monograph Exegeses in the Astan-e-Quds liberary

The third report of the bibliography of the monograph exegeses in the Astan-e-Quds liberary introduces twenty-four printed works from the collection of Quranic suras exegeses.
